22 Salute Champions Veteran Community by Sponsoring Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce Vet Fest - A Celebration of Veteran-Owned Businesses

On October 15, 2022, the community came together on the lawn in beautiful Downtown Summerlin for the inaugural Vet Fest, an event celebrating veteran-owned, military-spouse owned, and veteran-supporter owned businesses. 22 Salute™, known for its commitment to supporting the mental health of veterans and first responders, was a proud sponsor of this remarkable event hosted by the Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce.

Vet Fest was designed with two key goals in mind: to shine a spotlight on businesses run by veterans and their supporters, and to provide an enjoyable day filled with fun activities and a sense of camaraderie. The event kicked off at 11 am and was anticipated to draw between 2,000 to 4,000 attendees, eager to join in the festivities.

One of the main attractions of Vet Fest was the Cornhole Competition, which began around 11:30 am. Participants and onlookers alike were treated to an exciting tournament with a Round-Robin "Switcholio" double-elimination format. Whether an experienced player or a beginner, all were welcome to take part in the competition, making it an inclusive and entertaining activity. Great prizes were awarded to the winners, adding to the competitive spirit and enjoyment of the game.

The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin, located at 1980 Festival Plaza Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135, served as the perfect venue for Vet Fest. With its picturesque scenery and vibrant atmosphere, it provided an ideal backdrop for showcasing the talent, hard work, and dedication of the veteran community and their businesses.

As attendees explored the various booths and offerings, they were able to connect with local entrepreneurs, learn about their products and services, and show their support for the veteran community. The event was more than just a celebration—it was a testament to the resilience, determination, and contributions of veterans and their families.

As the event came to a close at 3 pm, attendees left with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude. Vet Fest successfully achieved its mission of bringing the community together, providing a platform for veteran-owned businesses, and creating a day filled with joy and goodwill.

In conclusion, the inaugural Vet Fest was a resounding success, and 22 Salute™ extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce, all participants, vendors, and attendees for their support and enthusiasm. It was an honor to be part of this event, and we look forward to future Vet Fest celebrations that continue to champion the spirit of giving, recognition, and community.
